1. Warranty Information
The applicable Paint Protection Film (PPF) warranty covers eligible product defects under normal use and proper maintenance, subject to the terms stated in the customer's warranty certificate or applicable written warranty.
Where covered by the applicable warranty, eligible defects may include:
- Loss of structural integrity, including cracking, peeling or crazing.
- Loss of adhesion, including bubbling, blistering or delamination.
- Significant discoloration attributable to a covered product defect.
If a defect is verified and the claim is approved, the remedy will be determined under the applicable warranty. Coverage may be limited to the defective film material and affected area.
The warranty may be subject to the following conditions:
- It applies to the original purchaser, where specified.
- It may be non-transferable.
- The warranty period begins from the applicable installation date.
- Installation and vehicle-surface eligibility requirements apply.
- Coverage may be restricted to original factory-painted surfaces.
2. Warranty Period
The warranty period applicable to a vehicle is the period stated in its invoice, warranty certificate or other applicable written warranty documentation.
Different products may have different warranty periods and coverage. No specific duration is guaranteed by this general webpage unless it is expressly stated in the customer's warranty documents.
Customers should retain their original invoice and warranty certificate for the entire applicable warranty period.
3. Anti-Yellowing Warranty
Anti-yellowing coverage applies only where it is included in the warranty for the product installed and is subject to the stated warranty period and conditions.
Only abnormal or excessive yellowing that meets the applicable warranty criteria may qualify as a defect.
Not Covered
- Minor fading or colour change resulting from normal environmental exposure.
- Yellowing caused by chemicals, contamination or improper maintenance.
- Discoloration caused by external damage or conditions excluded under the applicable warranty.
4. Self-Healing & Hydrophobic Performance
Self-Healing Performance
- On applicable films, minor surface scratches may diminish with heat from sunlight or warm water.
- Instant self-healing performance, where available, operates under the conditions specified for the product.
- Self-healing does not apply to deep scratches, cuts, punctures or physical damage through the film.
Hydrophobic Properties
Depending on the product, hydrophobic performance may provide:
- Water beading.
- Easier cleaning.
- Reduced dirt adhesion.
Self-healing and hydrophobic performance may reduce over time due to usage, maintenance, weather and environmental exposure. These performance changes are not automatically considered warranty defects.
5. Adhesive Residue Warranty
Where included in the applicable warranty, properly removed film should not leave significant adhesive residue under normal conditions.
Excessive adhesive residue may be considered for a claim if it meets the applicable warranty criteria.
Exclusions
- Improper, forced or incorrect removal.
- Removal by an unauthorized person or service provider.
- Repainted, refinished, weak or damaged surfaces.
- Exposure to extreme heat or chemicals.
